FD120 stands for Fire Door 120 minutes. That means an FD120 door gives you up to 120 minutes – or two hours – of resistance against fire and smoke in an emergency.

Given the extended resistance time, we recommend FD120 doors for industrial settings where expensive assets need to be protected or for larger buildings where more time is required to protect evacuation routes.

An FD120 door can be up to 64mm in thickness, utilising a core that is specifically designed to increase the resistance time of the door.
